Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing and submitting planning applications, appeals, and site appraisals for residential developments.
- Conduct research and analysis on planning policy, land use, and housing needs.
- Liaise with local authorities, clients, architects, and other consultants throughout the planning process.
- Provide support with public consultations and stakeholder engagement.
- Help to prepare reports and planning statements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Stay up to date with planning legislation, policies, and trends, especially in residential development.
About You:
- A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline (or working towards completion).
- An understanding of the UK planning system and an interest in residential planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for creating positive outcomes through planning.
- Eligible for or working towards membership of the RTPI.
