Our client is a leader in harnessing data and technology to drive innovation and deliver value-driven solutions for their clients. They are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join their Digital Delivery team, where you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining geospatial solutions using ArcGIS Online. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on creativity and innovation, with a strong understanding of the digital geospatial field and a commitment to addressing client needs.

An interest in environmental and ecological issues would be an asset.


Position Overview
As a Senior Consultant, you’ll report directly to the Digital Delivery team lead and work closely with Project Managers across the organization. In this role, you will develop solutions that enhance project coordination and data use for web and mobile platforms. You’ll engage directly with clients, presenting tailored solutions and delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and improve the ArcGIS Online environment, executing both web and mobile application development with ESRI ArcGIS tools.
  • Offer technical support and troubleshoot issues, enhancing and maintaining GIS applications, scripts, tools, and web services.
  • Produce, update, and manage documentation, including training guides for system use.
  • Work with clients to understand their project requirements, translating these into actionable and visually appealing solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the client’s digital offering, continuously enhancing personal skills to meet evolving digital needs.
  • Work collaboratively within the Digital Delivery Team, providing mentorship and support to junior team members.

Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will bring:

  • Proven experience in GIS, with a strong background in geospatial development.
  • Demonstrated expertise in ESRI technologies, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Experience Builder, and Sweet, for creating end-user visualization solutions.
  • Experience in publishing and managing geospatial data within ESRI products.
  • Skills in developing web-based mapping applications with ESRI tools and mobile applications using Survey123 and ArcGIS Field Maps.
  • Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Arcade, and Python, with demonstrable experience in both Arcade and Python scripting.
  • Knowledge of AWS and Azure environments.
  • The ability to present and explain Proof-of-Concept solutions to senior stakeholders.
  • A degree in a relevant field.

Desirable Experience
Knowledge or experience in any of the following areas would be beneficial:

  • Workforce for ArcGIS
  • C# programming
  • CityEngine
  • Development within Unreal or Unity platforms
