About the Role

Our client, an innovative multidisciplinary consultancy, provides planning, design, and environmental services across the UK. They are seeking a driven Associate Planner to lead planning applications and projects while supporting the growth of the Planning team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to shape spaces, co-create social and environmental value, and foster professional development in a dynamic workplace.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate planning projects, managing teams and client relationships.
  • Expand networks with key stakeholders and local authorities, ensuring strong client and contractor engagement.
  • Prepare and submit planning applications, appeals, and local plan representations.
  • Provide technical guidance, manage budgets, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to business growth and development.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • RTPI accredited degree or Master's, Chartered RTPI member.
  • At least 4 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally with private sector exposure.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
