The Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Principal Consultants to join the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Infrastructure team. The successful candidates will manage and deliver projects, contributing to the growth of our business and the expansion of this consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage EIA projects, particularly in the energy, water, highways, rail, and coastal sectors.
- Collaborate with our Planning, Social Value, and Social Economics teams, as well as external partners.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Prepare and review EIA reports and related documentation.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Mentor and train junior team members.
- Contribute to business development by leading or supporting bids for new projects.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5-8 years of consulting experience.
- Proven track record in delivering EIA projects, particularly in the infrastructure sector.
- Strong knowledge of EIA guidelines and the planning process.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Outstanding report writing and communication skills.
- Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Degree in a relevant environmental, sustainability, or planning field.
- Active network of contacts in the infrastructure sector.
- Membership in a relevant environmental institute (chartership or working towards it is desirable).

- Experience in strategic assessments such as SEA.
- Experience in property sector EIA.
