Salary

£28,870 – £34,960, depending on experience.
Our client operates a transparent pay structure, with salaries reviewed annually to reflect inflation and market conditions.

The Role

We’re seeking a Consultant Landscape Architect with 3–5 years of professional experience to join the Green Infrastructure and Landscape Design team. Collaborate with experts in ecology, arboriculture, and landscape planning to deliver exceptional, evidence-led designs that prioritize sustainability and resilience.

This role offers:

  • 4-day work week with Fridays off.
  • Hybrid working (2 days in the office or on-site).
  • Locations: London (preferred), Manchester, Birmingham, or Bristol.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects through LI/RIBA design stages, from strategies and masterplans to technical designs.
  • Produce design drawings, green/blue infrastructure plans, and landscape masterplans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, site-specific solutions.
  • Engage with clients and design teams while managing workloads effectively.
  • Participate in workshops, team meetings, and professional development initiatives.

Ideal Candidate

  • 3–5 years’ professional experience and postgraduate qualifications in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
  • Experience running projects through all design stages.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and ideally Revit.
  • Strong skills in sustainable design, ecosystems services, and climate-adaptive strategies.
  • Chartered or working toward Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
  • Full right to work in the UK.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of UK planning systems.
  • Experience with the Building with Nature Accreditation.
  • Passion for planting schemes, biodiversity, and resilient design.
