As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client’s customer base within your assigned territory or industry sector. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, qualify, and secure new business opportunities while leveraging cross-selling strategies to maximize potential within the existing client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Planning: Collaborate with the commercial team to develop and implement a business plan targeting key markets and sectors, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and KPIs.
  • Lead Management: Manage an inbound lead generation funnel, ensuring a robust pipeline of new business opportunities to exceed targets.
  • Prospecting & Qualification: Use a data-driven approach to focus on high-potential services and sectors, aligning client challenges with our client’s top-tier services. Employ techniques like BANT and MEDDICC to prioritize opportunities effectively.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain a rigorous forecasting process, keeping all opportunities up to date in CRM systems, and provide regular reports to commercial leaders.
  • Networking & Events: Attend relevant industry events to generate and qualify leads, tracking ROI and ensuring leads are entered into the CRM pipeline.
  • Quotation & Contract Management: Work with subject matter experts to prepare high-quality quotations and manage the end-to-end sales process, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Cross-Selling & Collaboration: Partner with Account/Client Success teams to cross-sell within the existing client base and generate new business opportunities through referrals.
  • Team Contribution: Support and mentor colleagues, sharing best practices and innovative ideas to contribute to the team's overall growth.
  • Tools & Systems Management: Utilize CRM and other management tools to maintain a comprehensive view of sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Additional Duties: Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by the leadership team to deliver best-in-class service to customers.
