About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Expertise: Apply your extensive experience in survey design and delivery, protected species mitigation, and licensing to manage complex client sites, large developments, and multi-species mitigation projects.
  • Client Interaction: Lead key client meetings, including design team discussions, and provide best practice guidance and advice to ensure exceptional client service.
  • Mentorship: Offer dedicated mentorship to less experienced team members, fostering their technical growth and development.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Act as a subject matter expert, enabling colleagues across the business to understand and appreciate the work your team does through proactive knowledge-sharing activities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Specialist Knowledge: Authoritative in species mitigation with a mitigation license for at least one protected species and significant experience in mitigation for several others. An EIA background is desirable.
  • Survey Expertise: Ideally, a survey license holder for at least one species with extensive experience in site surveys.
  • Mentorship Skills: Proven ability to develop others by providing focused mentorship and ongoing support for team members' progression.
  • Report Writing: Exemplary report writing skills and efficiency in quality checking sensitive, site-critical documentation.
  • Tech Proficiency: Highly proficient with Microsoft packages and a champion of technological advancement, leveraging systems and processes to enhance client delivery and improve ways of working.
