About the Role

Our client is seeking a Senior/Principal Ecologist to lead a dedicated team based in Farnham. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate ecologist who thrives in a collaborative, close-knit working environment and has a deep commitment to wildlife conservation.

In this role, you will oversee a variety of smaller residential projects, with a strong emphasis on bat-related work. Experience with bat surveys, mitigation, or holding a bat licence would be highly beneficial. You’ll work across all stages of projects, from initial surveys to post-development monitoring, providing well-rounded ecological services while ensuring a high standard of client care.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ecological consultancy, a strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and habitats, and be confident in managing a team. This is a great opportunity to lead a growing team, working on impactful projects in a supportive and dynamic environment.
