About the Role
Ocean to Earth Recruitment is partnering with a leading environmental consultancy in Cardiff, South Wales, to recruit an experienced Senior or Principal Arborist. We are looking for professionals with site-based environmental expertise who are passionate about the environment and construction.

Key Responsibilities:
-
Conduct arboricultural surveys in line with British Standards (BS5837:2012), provide tree management recommendations, and prepare professional reports, including Arboricultural Method Statements and Impact Assessments.

Assist in environmental coordination and clerk of works teams.

Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

Support the development of in-house arboricultural and environmental clerk of works expertise, contributing to both team growth and business expansion.
About You:
-
Professional Member of the Arboricultural Association with a minimum RQF Level 4 qualification in arboriculture.

Proven arboricultural experience with strong knowledge of tree identification, risk management, and protected tree legislation.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Solid understanding of health & safety regulations and risk assessments.

Proficiency in tree survey software such as AutoCAD and GIS.

Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environmental team.
