Ocean to Earth Recruitment is partnering with a leading environmental consultancy in Cardiff, South Wales, to recruit an experienced Senior or Principal Arborist. We are looking for professionals with site-based environmental expertise who are passionate about the environment and construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct arboricultural surveys in line with British Standards (BS5837:2012), provide tree management recommendations, and prepare professional reports, including Arboricultural Method Statements and Impact Assessments.

  • Assist in environmental coordination and clerk of works teams.

  • Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

  • Support the development of in-house arboricultural and environmental clerk of works expertise, contributing to both team growth and business expansion.

About You:

  • Professional Member of the Arboricultural Association with a minimum RQF Level 4 qualification in arboriculture.

  • Proven arboricultural experience with strong knowledge of tree identification, risk management, and protected tree legislation.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • Solid understanding of health & safety regulations and risk assessments.

  • Proficiency in tree survey software such as AutoCAD and GIS.

  • Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environmental team.
