About the Role
We are seeking to recruit a Low Carbon Energy Assessor to join a growing team at a 200 strong multidisciplinary consultancy, with the potential to work from any of their 17 U.K. offices. A positive place to work, our client aims to implement the motto ‘See a Difference’ in everything they do.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will work as a member of the Energy Group Building Compliance Team and will contribute to all aspects of energy engineering projects. Additionally, the role involves providing marketing and business development support by identifying new clients and opportunities to support the growth and expansion of our client’s operations.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Level 3 / 4 Non-Domestic EPC Assessor Certification
- A full U.K. driving licence with a clean driving record
- TM44 certification (preferred but not essential)
Experience
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a consultancy role, and will demonstrate expertise in the following areas:
- Delivering EPC and DEC services
- Using Design Builder software
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Writing reports and creating proposals
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Proficiency with the ACE Wizard Portal
- Familiarity with Part L (England & Wales) and Section 6 (Scotland) building regulations
- Knowledge of the MEES Regulations
Responsibilities
As part of the Energy Group Building Compliance Team, you will:
- Contribute to professional input on energy engineering projects
- Provide support for marketing and business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and fostering client relationships
