Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Landscape Planner to join their growing team in Tewkesbury. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects and make a meaningful impact on the planning and development landscape.
As a multi-disciplinary consultancy, you will collaborate with ecologists, heritage specialists, and masterplanning colleagues to deliver high-quality projects that balance commercial objectives with environmental sustainability.
Roles and Responsibilities
You will play a key role in delivering landscape planning services across a variety of projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing landscape and visual impact assessments (LVIAs) and appraisals
Contributing to landscape masterplans and strategies
Providing expert advice on landscape matters to clients and stakeholders
Assisting with planning applications and environmental impact assessments (EIAs)
Conducting site visits and surveys to inform project design and development
Collaborating with internal teams and external consultants to deliver high-quality outcomes
About You
We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual with a keen interest in landscape planning and design.
Essential Requirements:
A degree in landscape architecture, environmental planning, or a related field
Experience in producing LVIAs and landscape appraisals
Strong understanding of landscape planning policies and guidance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in relevant software such as GIS, Adobe Creative Suite, and AutoCAD
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Full UK driving licence
Desirable Skills:
Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) or working towards chartership
Experience in landscape character assessments
Knowledge of green infrastructure planning
