The Role

Our client is seeking a Flood Risk and Drainage Graduate Consultant/Consultant with relevant qualifications to join their team. Ideally, candidates will have 2+ years' experience preparing Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and Drainage Strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking, solutions-focused environmental consultancy with sustainability at its core.

Key Skills

  • Ability to identify and communicate flood and drainage-related constraints and opportunities at development sites.

  • Experience producing FRAs and drainage strategies.

  • Proficiency in InfoDrainage (or similar drainage modelling software).

  • Experience using AutoCAD and GIS.

  • Good knowledge of the planning system, particularly flood-related policies and guidance such as the NPPF and SuDS Manual.

  • Awareness of project management principles and strong communication skills.

  • Ability to write clear and concise reports.

Experience with Tuflow, Flood Modeller, FEH, or river restoration would be advantageous but is not essential. All applicants will be considered equally.
